UDL Installation
As of August 2009, UDL now requires you to run an installer before the units will run. The installer will try to put the files in a standard place where all users can access them. If you don't have permission to store files in that common place, then the installer will put the files in a standard place in your home folder.

After running the installer then you can go to the portal and start any unit.
Note for Mac Users:
If you try to run a UDL unit and instead you see a configuration file, then your Java Web Start is
configured incorrectly.
To fix the problem:
Open /System/Library/CoreServices in the finder
By opening that folder in the finder, Java Web Start will be fixed for the current user.
